Thanks for visiting this part of the site, a place where you can express your views and have your say on anything local (or national or maybe even international) The blog is run by - me Helen, a local, mother of two. I wont tell you how old I am yet as I dont know you well enough!!
As you can see the web directory is really interactive with loads of great local business feature from across our region and I aim to make the blog site just as good, introducing new and not so new businesses, that can be found thoughout the Fylde. If you have any photos/things to sell or bits of interesting local news contact me via the form below.
On a more serious note I would invite all locals and visitors to Blackpool
to look at the web directory and source local products and services from around the area. We need to sustain our local communities
What I am proposing to do is to create a What's On Guide for FY1-FY8 and with your help I can. All entries in the diary are free of charge for non profit making organization. If you have any charity events across the Fylde that I can help to promote I am more than willing to include this in my Blog Diary.
I have recently had a meeting with North West Air Ambulance who do a tremendous amount of work across the region and need a lot of support and funding to keep Katie flying. To this end I have offered to do a little bit to help out in terms of advertising their charity on the site and to promote all fundraising events in aid of North West Air Ambulance. So let me know if you are doing anything special and we will get it noticed via www.blackpooltown.co.uk
